"MDS launches Safe Driving Contest for women on International Women's Day

International Women's Day (IWD), is marked on March 8th every year. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements.
Maruti Suzuki is aiming to celebrate women through empowerment and recognition, giving them wings to fly to freedom.
A contest for safe driving for women
Safe Driving Contest organized by Maruti Driving School called “Queen of the Road” will be a test the for road safety skills for women drivers. The selection would be done through an online quiz and actual driving on the road at MDS locations in 10 selective cities.
The Queen of the Road Contest registrations would be open from 8th -22nd March and will be open to all women working in corporate and be extended to the wives of male employees.
In the end the winner from each Zone would be crowned the Queen of the Road and gets an award of Rs 50,000/-

The details of the contest are as follows:

Cities are: Delhi/NCR, Lucknow, Kolkata, Indore, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.

Eligibility for women (aged 18 yrs and above, Must possess a valid Driving license and Valid Corporate ID). This is also available to the wives of corporate employees
