Maruti to setup world-class driving schools in 15 cities : The Hindu Business Line (Web & Print Edition)

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Ltd on Friday announced that it would set up world-class Maruti Driving Schools across 15 cities in India, this year.

The driving schools are modelled on international lines, where learners will be imparted classroom training, practical training and training in attitude and road behaviour, as per international practice.

These will be equipped with world-class simulators to enable learners to familiarise themselves with the controls of the car before they take the actual vehicle on the road. These will also simulate various road and weather conditions such as fog, dim light, uphill and downhill terrain, to provide comprehensive training to learners.

Early this year, the company had set up three pilot Maruti Driving Schools - one each in Bangalore, Kollam and Chandigarh.
